Paris Saint-Germain have made Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus a target, according to latest reports.

It is an open secret that Manchester City is in the lead to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, who is also being targeted by PSG and other top clubs around Europe.

PSG have since decided to seek out other options as Haaland looks unattainable, and have been linked to a number of strikers. Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku is the biggest name linked to the Parisiens, with earlier reports claiming that a meeting between PSG sporting director Leonardo Araujo and the Belgian’s entourage have already taken place.

New reports now claim that the French league leaders have made moves to take Gabriel Jesus off Man City’s hands.

Gabriel Jesus has been at Man City since 2017, his first foray into Europe after making the move from his hometown club Palmeiras. In that time, he has understudied Sergio Aguero and also deputised excellently for the legendary Argentine when called upon.

He has also been a utility forward for Pep Guardiola who has utilised him all across the attack and so far, he has scored 89 goals in 227 appearances for the club.

Jesus has fallen down the pecking order at City and the speculation of his future has risen. Per the latest reports, PSG have now thrown themselves into the mix, making an offer to provide the 25-year-old a fresh challenge.

They will, however, have to contend with rival bidders Juventus and Borussia Dortmund, who seek to replace the outgoing Haaland with the Brazilian.

City are understood to be open to selling Jesus this summer and it is expected to be a game of numbers in the summer for the Brazilian’s signature.

Jesus, if he moves to PSG in the summer, could be starting a new European adventure under the tutelage of Zinedine Zidane, according to reports.

Zidane has been linked with the PSG job since retiring from Real Madrid’s dugout and the French legend, currently on sabbatical from the sport, has been reported as only interested in the PSG or French national team job to return to active football.

The Parisiens have reportedly decided to part ways with Pochettino regardless of how the season ends. The Parisiens could also come under new ownership as Qatar Sports Investments, owners of the club, have made a decision to quit the club next season.
